The Graduated Licence Program (GLP) is a comprehensive course that is led by an ICBC approved instructor. The course is hands-on and incorporates theory, visuals, and case-based scenarios, allowing young drivers the best possible chances for success on the road.   1. In-car driving lessons consist of a minimum of 55 minutes of practice time. Only one student and the instructor shall be in the training vehicle during the lesson for safety purposes. In cases where training is occurring, two instructors representing Trinity Driving School Ltd (2004) may be in the vehicle for learning purposes. We will teach depending on the learner's skill level (driving on various roads, parallel parking, reverse stall parking, pulling over and hazard perception but not limited to these).  
     

  2. For road test rental, a cost of $79.99 (tax included) will be charged to the customer. They can arrange to meet us at ICBC, or we can arrange to pick them up from the student's home as per the client's request and driving school availability. The cost for a home pick up and meeting at ICBC is the same price at $79.99 (tax included) The student must bring two government pieces of identification and payment for ICBC road test. Learner and novice displays will be provided by Trinity Driving School and accessible at ICBC driver training. 
     

  3. Payment must be made no later than the end of each lesson or road test session. There will be no refund for driving lessons or road tests that have taken place. If a student has pre-paid for driving lessons or a road test session, there will be no refund given in cases of insufficient notice of cancellation (see 4 below) 
     

  4. Payment for driving lessons and programs can be made by cash, e-transfer, or personal/ business cheque.  We offer installment payments on most packages. Bounced cheques will be charged an NSF of $18.00. Refunds will be given in case of program cancellation or given sufficient notice by the student to the driving school. 
     

  5. A late cancellation fee of $40.00 will be charged for not showing up or if the notice to cancel an existing appointment is not given at least 24 hours in advance by the student.
     

  6. For cancelling a road test appointment made by Trinity Driving School Ltd (2004), we require 72 hours' notice, as we must notify ICBC. Failure to give Trinity Driving School Ltd (2004) sufficient notice may result in the student having to pay a Road Test Cancellation fee to ICBC. 
     

  7. All refund requests must formally be made via phone at (604) 278-1739 or by email at trinitydriving@hotmail.com. We offer full refunds for unused lessons or if students no longer wish to use our services within 24 hours of cancellation of any current lessons. Refunds will returned in the form of cheque or e-transfer.
     

  8. Road Tests can be booked either by the student or by Trinity Driving School Ltd (2004). The student must sign a consent and release form before Trinity Driving School Ltd (2004) may book a road test on their behalf. Students must be in an active training program, taking driving lessons, within 21 days of a road test booked by Trinity Driving School Ltd (2004), or Trinity Driving School reserves the right to cancel any road test appointment it has made.

Graduated Licensing Program (GLP) Policy Statement 

  1. The cost for the GLP is $1195.00 (tax included). Students are able to make 3 installment payments of $398.00 or pay in full. The first installment must be provided during the first day of theory, with the final payment prior to the road test session. Payment can be made by cash, e-transfer or by personal or business cheque. Bounced cheques will be charged an NSF of $18.00. Refunds will be given in case of program cancellation or given sufficient notice by the student to the driving school. 
     

  2. The GLP is a comprehensive program consisting of 

    (a). 18 hours of classroom theory 
    (b). 14 hours of 1-1 driving lessons. Minimum 55 minutes of practice driving time each lesson
           i. There is a maximum of 2 individuals in the vehicle during lessons (instructor and student only) 
    (c). Two high school credits upon receiving a GLP declaration. 
    (d). 6 months off the class 5 road test eligibility 
     

  3. In order to obtain a GLP declaration, students must attend all classes, complete a minimum of 14 hours of in-vehicle lessons and pass all theory assignments and quizzes provided by the GLP theory instructor. In addition, students must pass all driving assessments done by a practical instructor. 
     

  4. For individuals requiring additional lessons outside of the GLP, the hourly rate for lessons is $79.99 for each lesson per hour. We offer package deals for students interested in more vehicle training. 
     

  5. If students would like to use our vehicle for the road test it will be an additional fee of 1 hr at $79.99 in order for the student to use our car for the road test.
